Level 2 Improve Comedy Workshops – Wednesday Series
Jersey Creative Lab’s six-week Level 2 Improv Comedy workshops are for adults who already know the basics and are ready to go deeper. Students will work with the same ensemble each week to strengthen their scene work, make clearer and faster decisions, take bolder initiations, stay present when scenes take unexpected turns, and become more confident being seen and heard onstage.
$350 | 16 students max per workshop | Advance registration required
Prerequisite: Participants must have completed at least 12 hours of prior improv training before enrolling.
The workshop culminates in a live Armando-style improv showcase for friends and family at Barsky Gallery in Hoboken on Monday, October 26.
The workshop will be led by Nick Carrillo, an actor and improv instructor who has trained, performed, and taught with UCB, The PIT, and The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. Nick was also an original cast member of the Off-Broadway hit Puffs; Or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic and has appeared on NBC, VH1, Comedy Central, and truTV. His teaching style is supportive, playful, and focused on helping students take risks without overthinking.
