Intro to Improv Comedy Workshop – Second Series

The second series starts on Monday, August 10, and continues on 17th, 24th, & 31st.

Jersey Improv Lab’s four week Intro to Improv Comedy workshop is for adults who want to learn improv in a relaxed, low-pressure setting or for anyone who wants to get more comfortable being in the moment and thinking on their feet. Over the four weeks, you’ll build a strong foundation in improv comedy while getting more comfortable being in the moment, listening closely, responding honestly, and making choices without overthinking or second-guessing yourself – all without ever feeling like you’re “performing.”

The Mondays workshop is led by Nick Carrillo, an experienced improv performer and instructor who has studied and performed throughout New York City. His background spans improv, sketch, and theatre, with credits including Off-Broadway performance in Puffs; Or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic, television appearances on NBC, VH1, Comedy Central, truTV, and digital work with Marvel. He has also performed improv alongside Goosebumps author R.L. Stine!
